[With hard eyes, she picks up a cup and drains it and moves towards the back of the boat.]

He, too, picks up a cup and drinks it down in one go, and when Meifeng heads toward the End, he trails behind in her wake without hesitation.]

Expression stony, she claps Siran on the shoulder, then shoves him forward before holding her breath and leaping forward into the End.]

She digs her free hand into her pocket and pulls out her communicator. She looks around the chaos to find Remy, who thankfully is not far.]
Remy!
[She waits half a second, and then throws it in his direction to catch. She won't need it where she's headed.
With a deep breath, Meth follows Meifeng to the stern.]

[The man is duel-wielding, Meth! He's not quite one to catch right now, but thankfully, that's what magic is for. He stops the communicator midair and grabs it after moving his dagger to his left hand.]
This is your...METH!
[Did she want him to keep it? Oh no...]

[If the passengers survive, Remy will have that to remember her by, and her friend, always prying, always wanting to know more, will be able to see everything that never went public.
Perhaps if he thinks of it, he'll even share some of the contents with Tyler, even if Tyler won't remember anything that happened.
Meth can't think about that now. She offers one last wave to Remy before turning toward the edge. She jumps into the End before fear gets the better of her.]

[Tears swell up in his eyes as he watches her blow him a kiss and he reluctantly waves his final goodbye to her.]
I won't forget you, my friend.
[By the time he chokes that out, she's gone and Remy has a new will to keep fighting. Now's not the time to mourn. He's going to make it, damn it. He pockets the communicator and returns to the fight.]

But one look at his Captain's face and every protest and plea dies on his lips. There's no backing out of this.
Unclipping his hipflask from his belt, Guy drains it and drops it to clatter on the deck before downing a cup of the blue stuff and just walking forward into the cloud.]
