The good news: She’s not got any kind of leukemia. The bad news: We’ve got a temp home place for her. She’s saying a week-because all she wants is to get to her own house-and we’re saying, you’ve got to be able to stand on your own two feet and stay balanced.

But now that I have internet and phone service for a few minutes again, not as annoyed as I was. with my luck, this will last an hour at best before it disappears.
I had to chat with Fios help on the phone, and not with a keyboard. Plus, I was stressed out, so that made it even more difficult. Add in that the repair ( Read more... ) -

Mom’s now out of the hospital and into a rehab hospital for the next ten days. In addition to the pneumonia, she’s had an enlarged spleen (not her polymyalgia acting up after all, and that’s to the good) and she’s had a bone marrow biopsy but we won’t get the results of that until Wednesday. Well, here I was thinking that report cards were the worst thing that could happen to me this weekend.
I was wrong. D’oh.
Mom being admitted to the hospital with pneumonia is now the worst thing. Mostly because I can’t get there this week, seeing that I a. have report cards, and b. have parent conferences.
