I forgot to post this, but I've been on Livejournal for over ten years now.
I've been musing over what I could tell myself ten years in the past. I don't think I could pass on a single piece of useful advice, other than get a different dentist because that one next to the school is a quack. -

I've been beating myself up for not picking up Emergency! at Target a few months ago when it was $10 a season. And now I can finally stop looking, since Amazon is having a fire sale where all the seasons were going for about $11 a pop. -

I am slowly getting for our trip in two weeks. Today I burned sixteen hours worth of Dragnet to disc for the ride both there and back. Thirty-two hours of the Squarest Sargent in Los Angeles County! -

We are watching the not!pilot for Emergency that is embedded in Adam-12 ( "Lost and Found" ). Just recently, we watched the episode for Emergency! that had Johnny obsessed with how an Adam-12 episode ended ( "The Hang-Up" ).
Continuity is for the weak, I guess. -

Sometimes when I've read a lot of one particular author, it's kinda cool to see the inside of their head. And sometimes it's much more OH DEAR GOD NO.
Luckily, this time was on the cool side with just a sprinkle of TMI. -
the saga of the break-in
I think I have a new life goal. If I ever have to leave work because someone is breaking into my house, that I have a good enough track record with my co-workers that they all don't automatically assume that I'm lying and came up with a unique reason to get off of work. -
I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out
In the movie "Slap Shot", the two teams start wailing on each other before the national anthem ( or anthems, I forget what team they were playing ).
In real life that doesn't happen. In real life the teams wait for the game to start and the puck to hit the ice, then they start beating the crap out of each other. -
