I’m moving to Rockhampton on the 19th of December. Rhys is going to be picked up that day by his parents to go home with them for Christmas. I start work on the 22nd of December, so I’ll have two days work before I have to fly home (?) for Christmas.

I’m not sure how I’m going to manage this.

I’m having the most gorgeous day. I have exactly six minutes until work finishes, today is my friday (so, two days off!) I’ve finally found out when I’m starting my new job (the 22nd of December) and I’ve just been paid. Life is beautiful.

When I am thinking particularly hideous thoughts about other people and the way that so many of them are complete idiots and how I wouldn't care if something from space fell down and took out their heads I commit random acts of kindness. When I was 13 I wanted a pair of ten hole doc martins and to look like Kate Moss (in that order). The doc martins were easy. I’m not sure how I managed to convince my mother to spend 180 dollars on shoes that were ridiculously hot and uncomfortable to wear in the tropics but somehow I got them. Yesterday I had an interview for a job with a company that the company I currently work for has bought. It’s a lot more difficult and monetarily rewarding than my current job and it’s in the town that Rhys lives.
