It's been an odd trip around the sun.  A lot has shifted since this time last year.  Surgery's, hospitalizations, mental health frustrations.  Also a lot of travel, family visits, and trying new experiences.  I was better able to figure out the pieces that I need to work on in order to show up better.

Hi All,

It's been a while.  Mom has been at the rehabilitation center for over 2 weeks.  Her mobility is improving which is wonderful.  She is still struggling with getting proper bed rest to help her circulatory flow reset her legs.  The swelling is back up again.  Thankfully it looks like we will be able to get her a hospital bed for home.  That ( Read more... )

My mom is still in the ER.  She went in yesterday due to low energy, issues breathing, and concerns about infection in her legs.  Currently the run idea is pneumonia and cellulitis in her legs.  They are doing what they can.  The ER is a mad house as all the post holiday covid is running crazy.  The waiting rooms are full.  The staff is ( Read more... )

So far the new year is going well.  I did get a little sick with respiratory stuff, not covid thankfully.  I am feeling better and the down time did give me a chance to reflect.

It was over all a good holiday.  We had the normal Miranda opening presents that was super joyful.  She had fun seeing each toy and enjoying it.  This holiday really is all about the little ones.

It is my mother in laws birthday today.  Sylvia cooked up a wonderful dinner and we had a great time. I am very lucky that my family in law is pretty cool.  I had fun with Miranda today playing.

I had a good day of clients.  I was able to help them out with many issues.  It is feeling easier to handle the space needed to be a solid MT so I am grateful for that.

Excellent therapy session tonight.  Keyed in on how my childhood self was confused by the world and decided that I needed to know everything to be okay.  This evolved into me wanting to learn everything I could (Which is okay) but also that I felt anxious going into anything that I didn't know enough (Everything!) about.  That is a problem ( Read more... )
