Last week I mentioned Flashlight Worthy Books and how their featured book was Danny the Champion of the World. They seem to be reading my mind as today's featured book is the wonderful, poetic, and sublime Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. One of the few books I can say truly changed my life.

Have you read AVM? It's truly wonderful. I actually haven't read any of her other books. Probably because a good number take place in Tucson, and being from Phoenix I have a born-and-raised aversion to anything from Tucson ;)

ironically i think AVM is the only thing i HAVEN'T read by her.
