Here we go all over again.
I've had this guardian ad litem case that I've done pro bono for over two years. The sisters that I am the GAL for are now 15 and 16 (almost 17). So many things have happened in this case that I can't really write coherently about it.

I made my first official bento boxes for our lunches today. A~ says he wants to enjoy my current obsession while he can. We are referring to this phase as "The Bento Days," mainly because we're assuming I can't keep this up for very long due to forces beyond my control (i.e., work). Anyway, here 'tis!

Feliz ano nuevo!
For the first time in a long time, I didn't have to work this weekend. It was awesome! My parents and two brothers came up to visit from Friday to Saturday, and we had a 3-for-1 celebration: my parents' 31st anniversary, Christmas, and my youngest brother's 14th birthday. Hair today, gone tomorrow
Got my hair done on Saturday. My stylist took almost 4 hours as I had to get the full treatment: (1) highlights redone; (2) shampoo, then the dryer; (3) highlights colored sangria, remaining hair dyed back to almost-black (it was getting a little light due to my past color experimentations); (4) sit under the dryer again; (5) shampoo and a ( Read more... ) -
Sicko
I am so sick. I can't believe it. I haven't been sick in years. And here I am, hacking up what's left of my lungs, hoping that my neighboring colleagues aren't completely grossed out by the noises coming out of my office. Hairy!
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but my three brothers are strange cats. They are strange about many things, but they all seem to have hair-related issues.
