Gnocchi

Does anyone have a recipe for gnocchi that actually stick together? I've tried a few lately with disappointing results.. with both potato and pumpkin, the gnocchi disintegrate on boiling. I have been using a cup of '00' flour and one egg yolk with approximately half a cooked, mashed butternut pumpkin or three large potatoes, with no success. I've ( Read more... )

Dennis' brother Lawrence was living in Sydney last year. This was fabulous, because he was one suburb away and we could go to his place and go out for lunch and he could come over to ours and hang out. Dennis was very happy. So the arm? Broken. Linear fracture in the head of the radius. Meaning, a small break in the smaller of the two forearm bones, up near the elbow. It was getting harder to turn my hand and to push buttons and do certain tasks so I went to have an Xray. I haven't been back to the doctor after the Xray so I don't know what to do. ..and I'm downloading APOD photos to put in the digital picture frame to turn on at the Outer Space Party we are having tomorrow night. I'm afraid not that many people are coming since we only decided to have it last Saturday, but that way there will be more styrofoam planets, aluminium foil and blue cocktails for those that do!
