Oh, Christ. I've spent the last few weeks in this moving limbo. I had three weeks between leases, so Adam and I moved into a sublease. summer in bloomington. i just finished up with the bloomington early music festival, for which i played two concerts, and then a professional recording of a bunch of crappy classical symphonies. it paid nicely, but then my cat, lola, got a terrible urinary tract infection over the weekend, and i had to take her to the emergency vet, which is ( Read more... ) -

well, i played a recital in wichita last sunday. it went very well. the experience was a lot of fun. i worked with a group of musicians who are not early musicians by trade - which initially made me a little nervous, but they were all so excited by the music and they picked up the baroque style so quickly that it was really a joy to do this ( Read more... ) -

well, here i am. i'm waiting to hear back on my financial aid for next year. adam already heard on his, and neither of us were pleased, as he wasn't offered nearly what he deserves, because this school likes to fuck people over, financially. i anticipate much the same for myself. i know that i'm getting money of some sort, although i'm not ( Read more... ) -

*phew* that was not a *phew* of relief, however. i have SO much shit to do over the break. first off, i have to play at my sister's wedding. that's not such a big deal, just throwing together some bach and telemann that i've played before with adam. the fun part is that it will be accompanied by a keyboard with a harpsichord sound that is tuned ( Read more... )
