Tonight, I am staying in, ordering a pizza, and reading a pile (read: 33) of papers to try and get a thesis position with a supervisor.

Is this what it feels like to be a responsible adult? Because right now, I'm not liking it so much.

(Although it beats last night's awkward steampunk/60s porn-playing bar. Never again.)

I'm alive. Barely.

Back at school for 6 days of class. Already I have 18 papers to read, two essays due next week and a lab journal to finish. Apparently taking two fourth-year courses in third year is a bad call; next time, someone REALLY needs to tell me this first. I am going insane. I know absolutely nothing about this moronic compulsory question the prof gave us for the exam in advanced cell bio, and he compounds my feelings of complete inadequacy by telling us its an easy question and he's amazed we don't have the answer and so forth.
