A few weeks ago now I went to see Richard Dawkins (and his eyebrows) speak about his new book in Berkeley. Now, as have you, I've always wondered if famous people ever see the episodes of South Park that they're thrown into. Some time ago now... I went hiking for two days in Big Sur with Jordan and my housemates Phil and Max. It was really awesome. The new store opened on Wednesday and it's been very busy. The sales for the store are higher than they projected (I, without any aids, could tell that their projections were low. I am not sure why they were so incompetent in assuming realistic projections.) So this leaves the store both understaffed (a decently simple problem) and, much more ( Read more... )

On Saturday, Jordan and I took the ferry to Angel Island. Angel Island is a pretty sizable island in the San Francisco Bay. It, in some ways, was the West Coast equivalent to Ellis Island. My housemates Paul and Kelly (who share a room) are moving out! In order to keep the house at 8 people (and all of our rents relatively the same) we've decided to get rid of the guest room (which bums me out!) Last week I went to my family reunion in Vermont. The three major things that I did were: 1) The family reunion 2) Hiking Mount Pisgah and 3) Corn maze! The corn maze was really amazing and well done.

A few weeks ago I went camping with Jordan. We headed to Guerneville which is a couple hours north of the city. We stayed for just two nights and had a really amazing time. I am officially going to work at the new Noe Valley store. The second I accepted the job I became a little sad. I've worked at my current location for five years... which is longer than I've spent doing, well, pretty much anything other than going to elementary school!
