somewhere far-off, peaceful, sleeping

I think I'm going to do it. I think I'm going to meet him. You're right -- if I don't, he's going to think there's something more going on. He's suspicious enough that he might decide to start investigating, and who knows what danger he'd be in then ( Read more... )

I think it is good that Gabriel is starting to suspect Rafe, that could take care of one of the scarier aspects you have to deal with. But being cornered might make Rafe more dangerous.

Good luck with Aiden.

Gabriel can take care of Rafe, that doesn't really concern me. Plus with two of them busy, maybe -- just maybe -- they won't notice that I'm away.

You're definitely doing the right thing by meeting him, but you need to ask yourself a few questions. Do you really think that by simply acting boring, Aiden will forget about you? Do you really think you can just walk away from this guy you so obviously feel a connection with? It's going to be a lot harder than you think. Not that exposing him to danger would be easy, but I think you know where I'm coming from.

On another note, I agree with crazyprogrammer- it really is good that Gabriel suspects something is up with Rafe. I'm hoping there will be some drama between the two, distracting anybody in the pack's attention from you so that you can be free to do what you wish and spend some time with Aiden.

Anyways, good luck! I can't wait to hear what happens.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. Except I think he's too involved to really just fade away, now.

That's what I'm hoping, heh!

Not to sound hauty, but, I often am right about these things. Sometimes it's not a good thing. But I really think that everything is going to be fine. I don't know if your kind believe in God, but, I'm sure you have some sort of faith, in something. Have faith that things will work out, and there is something... some force, a being, an energy, whatever have you, that is protecting you, as well as Aiden.

And also, I think it's a good thing that Aiden is too involved to fade away. You talk about yearning for something more, someone to confide in, I know you're thinking he could be that person who could rescue you, or help you rescue yourself, from your (sometimes) ufortunate lineage. Admit it, that's how you're thinking. You may be a wolf-woman, but you're still a woman! :D
Anyways, instead of thinking of this as a mess, think of it as a blessing of some sort. Instead of making matters worse for you, in some way, Aiden could make them better.

And now I think it's my turn to agree with you.

I'm also inclined to think that this could turn out as a good thing, but that it'll take some faith for the time being.

On which note, it at least seems that their religion is lunar based, with Vivian's expression "mother moon". I'm sure there's more than that, Vivian assured us it was complicated a while ago.

I'm glad you've decided to meet with Aiden. Good things come to those who wait, but every so often one must seize the opportunity before it is lost. have fun and keep your wits about you!

carpe diem! Seize the Day!

If seeing Aiden is something the makes your stomach do flip flops and you get giddy thinking about it, then go for it. Even if you're nervous. Carpe diem!

I really don't know what to do about Rafe and about Gabriel -- I mean, Rafe is one of us, I don't want him hurt too badly, but he's dangerous and I don't know if I want him just running around like that...

But I don't want to think about that right now. Because! Oh, I had such a wonderful night!

Rafe may be one of you, but it dont mean too much darlin, family turns on family easily, my own human family has taught me that much.

Im glad you had a good night tho :)
