Here are the garden pictures I promised Melanieathene. Some didn't come out as clearly or detailed as I wished, but here it goes. I hope you enjoy, Melanieathene!

Hi Myladylyssa,

Oh my, what a beautiful, beautiful place you both have. So kind of you to share these pictures. It's so immaculate, too. I absolutely love flowers but, unfortunately, I'm not very good at taking care of them. I leave all that to my husband who's the landscaper. He is so into to all of that. And he would gladly pat you both on the back for the beautiful job you've done with your lawn, and vegetable and flower gardens. Very, very nice : )

Thank you, Juliana! We were very fortunate to buy this house two years ago from a seller who had all these beautiful perennial beds already in place. We've just changed them up a bit and made them our own, although the vegetable garden is our addition. We are learning as we go, and our neighbor's beautiful garden and her advice are inspring and helpful. :)

Fortunate, indeed : ) Nevertheless, it's really lovely. Kind of like you own little piece of the Shire, kinda, sorta... huh? I think it's beautiful! *I can almost Sam out back in the garden*

Oh what a lovely garden! Love the curvyness of the lawn. And those tulips. Will keep these pics and remember them when we start working on our garden (which is still just little mountains of soil coverd with weeds... *sigh*).

Thank you, FSS! We were lucky that most of the gardens were already in place for us to play with. Our "woodland garden" was all weedy just a month and a half ago, if that's any inspiration.... This is our second year in the house, so it takes time. I know it is hard to be patient!

Oh, but the time you spend on a garden is so rewarding. Wish I had a little bit more of Sam in me - it would be lovely to create a beautiful garden that spoke of love and happiness. :)

Oh wow! What a gorgeous large garden!
Reminds me of the garden of Bag End.

Thank you, Solarfall! If I could be in any measure the gardener Sam is, then I would be happy. We are learning as we go, with help from our kind and talented neighbor.

*hugs*
