I am officially starting the essay of joy. Hrm. Not too long luckily - somewhere between 1000-1500 words.

I have spent hours writing a detailed plan and researching the subject. But can I be arsed to type the damn thing up?

So tomorrow I am being taken to an unknown hotel, travelling an hour and 20 mins on the train from Durham to a surprise location. Then in the evening he's taking me out to a very posh restaurant (Quail is on the menu) which has some amazing views. Or so I am told ( Read more... )

I have this strange feeling hanging around at the bottom of my stomach. It's like a mixture of excitement and that notion of things being really beautiful. I don't know what to make of it, except it feels like I'm about to embark on something really great.

I really do have so many things to like forward to. I am a very lucky person.

So today was pretty much pointless in the grand scheme of things. I hate Tuesdays enough as it is, what with the four hour gap between seminars. But to actually turn up to that second seminar and find that it isn't on.. to find that you spent four hours in the library for no reason, doing preparation work?
