gratitude & introspection
I feel like I'm going to throw up.
not in a gross, flu kind of way....its that nervous, excited anticipation.
I had sent out some heartfelt emails to some connections that I had made from Pure. I heard back from one guy, who very kindly gave me a few leads on employment. I sent emails, cover letters (!) and resumes out....

A few weeks ago the Dr.s at the clinic had to tell me they couldn't afford me. Business has been slow-it's starting to build. But not fast enough. At the end of the day, they are paying me a decent wage but not taking anything home for themselves. So, we agreed for me to go down to one day a week for now. We hope it picks up. Eve
Xmas eve, was drunk and oh, so chill. Our friend Dean came over for the 4th year running and we just watched movies glutted ourselves on treats and wine/beer.
Right now, I'm waiting for my roast to finish up in the oven! We are having roast stuffed with garlic, I rubbed steak spice and Dijon mustard on the outside then I drizzled some maple butter ( Read more... ) -

It's been FOREVEEERRR since I updated! That's awful. I'm having a weird time with the Internet, where I just kind of aimlessly click around for hours. It's horrid, and it's become a habit that I need to break. It's my way of tuning out after work I suppose.

Monday, Monday
So, to update...the rashy-rash is much, much better! I'm still having minor flare ups where one of my wrists might turn red and bumpy and get all itchy...but it tends to happen when I veer off the path of my whole foods eating plan. As in, starve the yeast by not eating convenient shit! Though convenient shit is what gives me a more ladyish figure ( Read more... )
