The Basics
Name: Maggie
Age: 16
Describe the meaning or significance in your username: I used to be
really into Malice Mizer, especially Klaha and Gackt, and I took it from Klaha's
love of pudding and Gackt's cologne (Chanel Platinum Egoiste). I'd probably
change it now if it hadn't grown on me.
Favorite color: Black, dark blues, red, silver, gray, and green.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you?: I have a problem
with orders. In a workplace setting I can do it, because it makes sense to me,
but outside of that, it really bothers me. I do what people say if it's said
like they're requesting it of me, but I don't really believe that people have
the right to control and order others around like people are required to obey
them. I'm not going to go around breaking laws, because I'm not that stupid, but
I don't like people feeling they have authority over me. I usually tend to take
control myself with group projects and such, though I don't like telling people what to do, myself, either.
Is the glass half full or half empty?: Half full. Some may be taken away,
but there's still plenty left. Besides that, it's a glass with some liquid in
it: it's not final. It could very well be filled again (or dumped out, if you
want to look at it that way).
Your favourite drink is?: Milk, Dr. Pepper, flavored water, hot tea, and
lately, coffee.
Smoking. Yes or no?: No. I don't think people who do it are evil or
anything, but I can't stand the smell and I'm not about to risk my health over
it. I do think, like a lot of people have said, that it looks cool in fiction,
though.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests?: Languages, psychology, reading, manga, music,
writing, fanfiction, anime, Asian dramas, Japanese history, travel, weapons,
computers, graphic design, psychological horror, and attractive men.
What are your pet peeves?: Ignorance and prejudice; I will never
understand it, and it bothers me to no end. People who can't type; I think it
takes away any meaning or significance from someone's words when their typing is
filled with 'u' and 'bcuz' and 'lyk', etc. I also don't like interruptions,
judgemental people, people who antagonize for no real reason, anti-fans, and
lots of other things that never come to mind when I'm actually trying to think
of them.
What are your hobbies? Special talents?: I like reading manga, watching
Youtube vids (I'm working on the record for largest favorites list), making
icons/banners/wallpapers/etc., studying languages, thinking up plots, designing
character appearances, playing piano (though I only really started doing that
seriously a few months ago), listening to music, sometimes cooking. I think I'm
pretty decent at graphics when I make a real effort, and I've got a good grasp
of languages. I also have a good memory - not quite as much so as a few years
ago, but I don't forget very easily.
Your strengths lie in? and why?: I'm passionate and devoted to my
interests and goals, so I think I have a good chance of accomplishing what I
want to. I'm also extremely loving and protective of people who are important to
me, whether I actually know them or not - friends, family, love interests,
celebrities I like/admire, etc. I don't like conflict, but I can suspend that if
a situation arises where I feel the need to defend someone, and I think that
makes people feel loved so it's a good way to be. I'm next to impossible to sway
from something I believe deeply in, as well. I guess you could say I have a good
sense of self?
Your weaknesses are? and why?: In some situations I get really jealous,
even if I try not to show it. I procrastinate, and I can be overly sensitive and
sometimes shy and slightly paranoid (I often feel that people don't like me or
want to avoid me). And of course, I don't like to be told what to do to the
point that I think people get annoyed when I honestly won't do something because
I feel like I'm being ordered around, and I can't take racist/sexist/etc.

Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why?: Maybe
it's a little fangirlish to say so, but I admire Jaejoong from the Kpop group
TVXQ. He's a very strong and determined person, and he worked extremely hard to
go from being tone-deaf to the talented singer he is today, while supporting
himself at the same time even though he was really young. I also admire people
whose books or manga are liked enough to be made into dramas or live-action
movies, and really anyone who works hard for what they want and stands up for
what they believe in.
What do you look for in a friend and why?: I like intelligent people who
see that there's a world beyond where they themselves live, who are open to new
experiences and cultures. I also like people who are honest and generally kind
and easy to get along with. Sense of humor is a plus, and I like to share
interests. Other than that, I'm not really picky.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why?: I'd
want to be the vocalist, because I think it's a powerful position to have and it
leaves a strong impression on people. (And, in the end, I just really love good
singers and I'd love to be one.)
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why?: It would be classy
but cozy at the same time, with a little Asian and a little European influence.
Most of the colors would probably be dark and rich, and I'd love a leather
couch. Relaxed, but sophisticated.
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why?: Probably a pair
of earrings, just because I love them.
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why?: I love Junko, because she's so
collected and sophisticated, and kind of snarky too. I also like Yasu for being
such a sweetheart but yet with a really cool and mysterious air to him (I see
him retaining this into his old age :p). And of course, Nana O., because she's
such a confident and tough person. I think it's a three-way tie.
Who is your least favorite character and why?: I've only gotten to volume
4, so I don't know all of this stuff about Takumi that I'm seeing, but I sense
that I won't like him once I do get that far. Right now though, I'd have to say
Sachiko, because she just seemed really annoying and desperate, not to mention
that her voice really grated on my nerves.
Your favorite pairing? And why?: Nana O. and Ren - it's classic, and I
think they're well-matched for each other.
Your favorite relationship? And why?: Nana O. and Hachi, another classic.
Their friendship is so sincere despite (and maybe because of) their differences,
and it's obvious that they really care about each other.
