Describe the meaning or significance in your username: Soletta Orihime from Sakura Taisen. I cosplay as her and I also look like her.
Favorite color: Red, especially a satin type red. I also like it when black and white coordiniate.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? I like giving orders. Yet, I end up in the follower position most of the time.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Half full, but I'm probably gonna drink it all 'cause I'm really thristy.
Your favourite drink is? Cranberry juice, sweet tea (chocolate!, raspberry, lemon, etc), pina coladas, and strawberry daiquiri.
Smoking. Yes or no? Oh hell no. If you want to smoke, smoke far away from me. I have horrible allergies. It's much worse when I smell pot scent.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? Listening to music (everything from Weird Al to Bach), Asian culture, sewing, karaoke, theatre, cooking (Italian food!), dolls, ballroom dancing, and DISNEYLAND!
What are your pet peeves? Hypocrites. Know it alls...you know people within a fandom who think they run the show, but don't realize they got sticks up the you know where?, people who talk in Ebonics, Asians who think they're black
What are your hobbies? Special talents? As long as I'm doing something creative, I'm happy. Most of my interests intersect what I consider hobbies. I hate being an unproductive zombie.
Your strengths lie in… and why? People tell me I have a good heart and that I'm mature, even though I'm very playful and happy go lucky with my friends. Sometimes I don't know myself enough to know my own strengths, but I do know keeping myself dedicated to something always produces the best results. Another strength I have is responsibility.
Your weaknesses are… and why? I'm a terrible procrastinator. I also have a fear of driving. I'm also pretty lazy, but I get that from my dad.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? I admire Lea Salonga. Who? She's the first Filipino American to ever be recognized in the entertainment industry. (Yes, I'm Filipino) I admire her as an entertainer on Broadway and as a voice actress. She's also just as elegant as Audrey Hepburn, but I like Lea more. I'm told I look a lot like Lea Salonga, but what Filipino girl hasn't been told that?!
What do you look for in a friend and why? I look for insightful people. People with strong opinions. The worst advice a friend can tell me is, "Do whatever" without telling me their own insight and how they feel. I like hearing varied opinions and having mature, intellectual conversations. Oh, common interests in a plus!
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? I live with one! My brother is a drummer and it does get annoying. I prefer to be on the management side. This is actually my career goal. As far as instruments, I'd probably play the sax.
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? I've always wanted a theme per room. The dinning room would have an Asian theme. The living room would look like a Victorian parlor. Of course my room would have a cat theme. I like cats.
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? A diamond brooch because I'm gonna live forever. lol
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? I have a few. I like Layla because of her namesake. Yes, I spell it "Layla." Eric Clapton is awesome. I'll be cosplaying as Layla at the end of the month. Both of us are just as giddy. I like Hachi because she's an interesting character to follow. She's the type of friend I'd love to give insight to. I feel after reading chapters of Nana that there is a Hachi inside each of my friends. Does a Jackson Burger count as a character? because I could go for one right now.
Who is your least favorite character and why? Shouji because he's a jerk. I have love / hate thing with Takumi.
Your favorite pairing? And why? Nana and Yasu. I like the way they just go together. Yeah, I like Ren too, but Nana O is always ambivalent about their future. Yasu seems much more sweeter for Nana O.
Your favorite relationship? And why? Nana and Hachi. I just want to see where they're going. They're a very interesting pair.

Where did you hear about us from? I had this community on my bookmarks list for a while. Finally got around to it.
Anything else you'd like to add? I have a feeling I'm gonna get Mai because I mentioned Disneyland, but I love that place. ;_; (Not to mention that I also want to name my future kid Mai...it means "cherry blossom" in Vietnamese. Card Captor Mai FTW!). I wear mob caps to sleep.
