My last math exam (hopefully ever) went well, I think. I saw A Soldier's Promise with my father last night; it was decent. It has a very predictable story line, though it is nice because it doesn't go as far as I thought it would, which leaves some things unresolved. This math paper is, forgive my use of the word, retarded. It is a reaction essay on an essay entitled "Mathematics as a creative art" by P.R. Halmos- three and a quarter pages boiling down to this fellow comparing math to painting. I am supposed to write two pages.
