The test that didn't happen last time has been rescheduled.  I'm going into St. Barnibus Hospital on the 23'rd for the Video EEG.  Which they were very clear means I'll likely be there through Christmas.  We have no idea how long it will take, but I do know how they intend to induce seizures, and it makes me nervous.  Sleep deprivation, medication ( Read more... )

Well, the topamax is most certainly taking effect.  The good news is it does seem to be effective at controlling the seizures.  The bad news is that it's as bad as I remember at interfering with the part of my brain responsible for words.  Sometimes I'm reading or writing and I look at a word, and I know I should know it, but it's like looking at a ( Read more... )
