So things have kind of, sort of begun to settle down in this new life at college, at least compared to two weeks ago. I have a regular class schedule and daily crew, I've gotten to know some nice people a bit, and Harvard is turning out to be a place I think I can really enjoy. Today I stayed home sick from school. How fun. I didn't even go to my Reed class. There was also a funeral today for a girl I knew at Winterhaven who committed suicide. I would have liked to go, but I didn't feel emotionally or physically up to it. Staying at home does give me a nice chance to catch up on some homework and work on mock trial, ( Read more... )

Wow...I just had an intense discussion with my parents about life and growing up. I still don't think I've recovered but it might be good to get my thoughts down.
