So, how'd the test go? (I just got my computer, so this is the first I'm reading this.)

Not too well. But that is OK considering that prelims (known as quals at most schools) are meant to be taken after the first year. I just have a dislike for analysis and would have liked to get that done with right off. It is the only one I took but the other subjects are Topology/Manifolds, Algebra, Linear Analysis, and Complex Analysis.

I should get results next Fri., but I'm not all that hopeful. Out of 8 problems, I'm pretty sure I got 2 fully correct, 2 mostly correct with some possible detail problems, 2 I just wrote down the main idea behind why the statement was true with no math to support it, and 2 blanks.
