Mo is doing ok but still has a fever off and on and her leg started looking a bit worse. They found out that she has a staph infection, MRSA I think, that cats can't get by themselves and would have to get from human contact of some sort. Mo is back in the vet ER, her paw was looking swollen and infected, which I brought up before they released her and they said it should be fine but it looked worse yesterday and her tube got clogged so, we brought her in. Mo is getting slightly worse, she has blood in her urine again and a growth or blood clot in her kidneys, her heart is enlarged and her breathing is becoming labored. Her lungs looked clear and they think the enlarged heart and breathing is due to too much IV fluid at once, so they stopped it ( Read more... )

Mo is apparently a conundrum, she is showing some signs of livery and kidney distress but her levels aren't high in any one area to pinpoint what is going on. It does not look like fatty liver, at this time, but they are going to put in the feeding tube so it does not turn into that. Mo is not doing well, we had to bring her back to the vet hospital as she is jaundice. They are hopeful it is just fatty liver from her lack of eating but it could be liver or kidney damage from all the meds she was on or trauma.
Could really use winning the lotto now and some really good news.

Have been having active contractions all day and they hurt like woah. Go from my back to my front and my whole body is tense. I can't seem to concentrate to time them but am having no other signs that this is active labor. Can't sleep, hurt too much though ( Read more... )
