Japan was a lot of fun! The only part that was not fun was getting there. We were scheduled to fly out on the 9th around noon. We even got to board our plane. Our new counter-top and sink was installed yesterday! They look really nice!!!! I'm really happy that the color matches the paint. We'll probably have to do some touch up work to the paint because it is starting to chip a bit. I love the sink! It's so big and not white! Yay! Now all we have to do is the plumbing. I love listening to NPR but sometimes listening too often makes me depressed. This week they've been talking about the bad economy, the bad housing market, the war, and global warming. Thank god pledge week started so I won't be listening for a while.

On a brighter note, today's XKCD was pretty good:

I watched "Becoming Jane" yesterday. The story was alright. I've never read a Jane Austen novel, so I couldn't say whether I like her writing at all, but I liked the way they portrayed her life. The movie was worth it just for the music and the pretty scenes ( Read more... )
