I've tried signing with all of my children, and so far Yossi seems to have taken to it the most. CJ got into it but could only hold onto one sign at a time. Every time I showed him a new one, he'd drop whatever he'd done before, and in the end the only one that really stuck was "all done." OS, IIRC, had little interest. And in a less navel-gazing vein, Yossi had his 9-month checkup today. Doc says all looks well. He got a flu booster shot and came in at 22 lb 15 oz, 30.5" tall and 18" head circumference.

Suffice it to say that OS has been in tantrum mode lately. I have been racking my brain to figure out what is going on, and so far I have come up with a few half-baked SWAGs and a lot of blanks. It is exhausting.

I think Yossi is genuinely waving. He flaps a hand stiffly whenever he sees someone for the first time or if he hears someone say "hi".

He's also started saying "mum-mum-mum" when he wants to nurse.
