i'm still singing to myself. i'm still deliriously happy. and it feels like i've never felt any other way.

though today, walking around, i remembered how temporary and fleeting this place, this situation, this adventure, this experience is. and that's okay. it makes it only sweeter.

i'm such a freaking lucky kid.

we are in the dominican republic and we are here overnight. this opens time and opportunity for so much debauchery. craziness awaits us all.

sometimes i think i'm too spoiled.

the medical saga here has come to an end. i spent my last day sitting around the hospital clinic in barbados. at least until i'm home and can get a specialist, things are good. and i could not be more relieved.

it also means i can finally enjoy the beach . . .

Tonight I walked through the streets of San Juan singing to myself. I've been told recently I have glow about me. I realize frequently that I'm smiling to myself or even giggling.

These are nice things.

i am happy. so so so happy. and guilt free which is new for me.

i can't claim everything is perfect. but it may as well be.

2007 was possibly the best year of my life, thus far. i can only imagine what the year ahead will bring.
