En Route

20+ hours of traveling and finally I'm here in Singapore. I just spent my first full day out and about with my Tito and Tita, soaking in the humidity on Orchard Road. Despite that, it's very comfortable here. Yes, it is very clean and, yes, you can chew gum. Driving on the left side of the road, however, is really throwing me off. It's cool that you liked Narita Airport. It's waayyyyyy different from LAX.

So you're gonna be in the Philippines for half a year? I'm probably gonna visit for the first time around late December. If you're still there, we should kick it.

Enjoy you're stay.

Yeah, Narita is sooo different from LA. It was fun to explore, but I had no idea what was going on half the time.

I'll be in Singapore until December. Then I'm going to the Philippines (I think) for Christmas and New Year. Do you know where you're going to be staying?

Also, let's talk about JET sometime. I'm really considering applying. Whee. Talk to you later.

Wow Justin, it's been a long time since we've talked, but I've been able to vicariously figure out how you've been through facebook and this lj. It's good to see I might be visiting this journal more often again. I have visited Singapore once when I was very small, and don't remember much other than how clean it was and that there was a gecko on a wall in a house that I stayed in. It'll be interesting to hear about their culture and your adventures. Have a wonderful journey!

Thanks, Crystal! I've been doing the same with you, haha. I'm trying to get into the habit of writing in this more often, but I'll try to veer away from my usual emo posts.

I haven't seen a gecko yet, and I forgot that I was in the tropics until I was reminded by a huge mosquito bite yesterday. Ack!
