Wonder Woman is a good model to reach for, but i bet it would be tough to find someone as perfect as you claim she is.

I don't think she was perfect. I could never understand what she saw in Steve Trevor, the guy she liked. He wasn't worth her mooning around.

But I like that she tried her best and didn't give up - those are characteristics we can all admire. For me, whether there's anyone who really is as good as Wonder Woman isn't the point - after all we're all going to fall short of a fictional super hero's example. What she showed me was that each person can and should do what they are able to do to make things better/fairer.. and that's attainable for all of us :)

The Phantom. Now that guy was a bit strange I thought. I watched an episode of Defenders of the Earth recently that has his brother in it. His brother says he should be the Phantom and they race to see who is the best. It's maybe my favourite Defenders of the Earth episode. There is a line in the opening sequence of that show "the beasts call him brother, the ghost that walks".

I've thought something similar! She probably also fantasised about being a ninja and was a disaster in the kitchen.. she just seems the type :)

He has a brother?! Either I never knew that or I've chosen to forget it. He sounds like a total whinger. Oh my god I used to go around saying "I'm the Phantom, the ghost who walks" all the time! Thanks for reminding me :) Also, you are totally wrong to suggest that The Phantom was even a bit strange - he was super cool. He lived in a skull cave, for goodness sake!!

Yeah he has a brother called Kurt. In this episode Kurt is brought back from exile by Emperor Ming and given special powers to help him fight the phantom. Part of the episode is a flash back to when they were kids and had to race each other to see who would become the Phantom when their dad retired and in the same episode the Phantom lays it all on the line and give Kurt another race for the Phantomhood. It's a good one, you should check it out.

By Emperor Ming do you mean Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon?? Because if you do that is really really cool :) I loved the awful awful Flash Gordon movie haha, it was sooooo bad it was hilarious :)

I'm gathering that Kurt doesn't win the race from the fact that the Phantom remains the Phantom and Kurt is a dirty cheater who got special powers from a Merciless emperor and therefore could never be a superhero?
