So the feller what owned the cabinet in the shop came and picked it up, was not at all upset over us having cut the lock off. Gifted our co-owner with some black powder for muzzle-loading weapons. Interesting guy, but talked a lot.

Drying herbs.
So we bought a second house, which is scary but a good step towards our goal of becoming slum lords. With our partner we now own a side-by-side duplex in addition to our condo. Our side has two suites, which is nice.
There's also a large two-car garage that we don't intend to use to house cars at all. It was used by the previous owner as a workshop ( Read more... ) -

So the marks are in for my two summer courses, both of which got me an A-. Not what I was hoping for, but they'll do. I was taking Studies in Fiction and Intro to Writing Fiction ( Read more... ) -

I'm in. Passed the audition and the theory test, school starts in September. First at the local community college, then transfering to a more reputable university after two years (up here in Canadistan college and university are two different things).
