In Death Valley, I met someone who owns a hair salon here in town. It was strange, because we all didn't ride together -- there were all these people from Tahoe who just sort of rendezvoused at the Visitor's Center and decided to go camping together. angelphyre has to have surgery again, so I'm making a jaunt to Birmingham March 13-15 to sit by her bedside and generally fulfill the duties of best friend.
I wish I could say it was under better circumstances, but I am extremely excited to see her. It's been almost three years!
