wow...today's been pretty intense.

-license
-finished prepping TEL
-new glasses
-saw Mr. DiFonzo for the first time in ten years

i could give a silly and long-winded, overly dramatic recount of how that last event went...but for now, i'll just reflect on the nostalgia and perhaps i'll write it out later.

life is good.

I wish the happiest of new years to all. May we pass this next year better than the last. May we put the mistakes of 2007 behind us and may we carefully pack away the memories to cherish in our futures. Much love to you all.

Christmastime is quite busy for me, even if the day itself has traditionally been quiet. I have not had time to properly check lj in a while, and I am now at retreat, it is 5:50 in the AM and I am the only one still awake. christmas has always been a quiet day for me. morning service, quiet. sometimes snow, quiet. winter coat and blanket, quiet. opening presents with just four of us, and still - quiet. this evening was not quite as quiet because i spent it with maya's family, but it was still very pleasant. and it's always been quiet, but in a pleasant, comfortable ( Read more... )
