Uh, I have a severe kidney infection. Like, if it's not at least a little better tomorrow, they're going to admit me to the hospital. For the past week I've been fighting a UTI, but this morning I had a fever and couldn't keep anything down and other kidney infection symptoms that I won't list here ( Read more... )

oh my gosh! I would definitely think hard about staying home -- finals are so close that it's not worth it to go to class if it's going to delay your recovery. It's not too bad to get notes from someone. :)

hope you feel better soon!

I'm just afraid of the whole attendance policy thing. :-(

I've missed a few of Crim Law classes b/c my husband was sick and I needed to pick him up, I was sick...

definitely talk to your professors if you think it's going to be a problem to stay home -- but it sounds to me like you are *so* not the kind of student that such policies are aimed at! if your meds make you unable to drive, are you really going to absorb that much from class anyway?

(I just hate to see people not getting well as quickly as they should -- it's something I'm guilty of, too!)

I missed a LOT of class this semester because of my thyroid. I'm gonna make it, so I wouldn't worry too much. You should be fine - just make sure to recover! I had to deal with attendance policy junk too, but the prof just took a letter.
I hope you feel better! (0:

Feel Better Soon, and take care of yourself, it's not good to drag yourself in if it's going to hinder your recovery in the long run
