I've been watching Kobato. The auditive experience is like Hetalia in full format, with Chibitalia as a Magical Girl and the Puffin as his sidekick.

I finally found a trailer for the local dub of Rapunzel (shut up that's the name), and it - the dub - sounds like I'm going to hate it. What makes Hetalia appeal to me is largely the nonsensical nature. When the fandom is competing about how many badly executed literary references it can make in fic, I find it comforting that TPTB uses his blog for cat pictures.
