My sister is getting married!!!! Dave proposed in Kauaii, where he'd taken her for a birthday trip. Apparently they were kayaking up a river, and at a secluded spot, he hopped out of the kayak and asked her to marry him.
She called me first! -

Everyone here has chickens...
Ok, not everyone. But when I go into work, a mile from my house, at five in the morning, I regularly hear a rooster crowing. Today, while sitting on my porch, I heard a rooster crowing. Wow. Over a week since I posted. Nothing exciting to report, really. And I just haven't had time to tell you all how not-exciting my life has been. My sister came for a visit, and we had a really good time. We ate, hung out, went to the Aquarium, saw a comedy show, hit up Karaoke, and generally relaxed. I am seriously overwhelmed today. And that's just it, I might not be so drained tomorrow. I'm on a day by day basis right now, and I don't like it. For someone who claimed to thrive on survival mode, I seem to have forgotten how.
