Update
Since last entry: Built a Snow Stalin; did alright on exams, but still had a lousy fall semester; went on winter break; helped older brother buy car; flew down to the opposite side of the world to have the shortest (two weeks plus four or five days of travel) and one of the best summer breaks I've ever taken; saw penguins, 25 sheep for every person ( Read more... ) -
Jeep!
I've gotten the jeep (FIAT Campagnola: Autovettura Da Recognizione, modello AR 59, versione militare) running well, and I've fixed the lights, the wipers, and reinstalled the heater. So now I can drive on cold rainy nights. Now I need to take it to a shop to get the steering tightened up, and to find out if I need new tires. In brief, I have an ( Read more... ) -
For crying out loud!!! Why do I live with so many stupid people?
I really don't see what is so hard about not stuffing IEDs into the dorm recycling bins. A "The Works" bomb! Honest to goodness. To make things worse, if a teacher hadn't pulled the smoldering molten plastic out from the recycling bin (directly across the hall from my door, the only way out of my room except for the window four stories above the ( Read more... ) -
