Ok all of you sewing types...
I have a question for you. The vest I'm making needs to be a medium and I don't want to cut off the large and extra-large parts of the pattern. How on earth do I fold the pattern so the I'm getting the medium measurements? I'm fine with the straight lines, but I'm not sure what to do at the curved parts. Ok. All of you sewing types on my f-list...I need help. I really, really want a sewing machine because it takes so bloody long to do anything by hand. However, it seems like all of the good sewing machines are around $800 or more. I know I won't be able to afford that for quite a while. I'm going to see Margaret Cho in Lawrence this evening. I'm way too excited. I wasn't too sure that we were going to be able to go because we just got the tickets yesterday....but we got them!! I've never been to live stand-up.

Shit! One of my cats has fucking tapeworm. Which means I will be spending most of my Saturday cleaning my damn house to clean up the tapeworm eggs. And now we'll have to watch the other one too to make sure that he doesn't have them. Personally I'm all for treating him like he does have them so we can be rid of this kind of crap. Is it just me being oblivious, or did this whole matter go somewhat unnoticed? I just found out that habeas corpus has been suspended. Did other people notice this?
