Just back from a successful, sunny long weekend at FurcoNZ 2007, in Huia. This was arguably New Zealand's first 'proper' Furry convention, hosted at the Kiwanas Huia Camp. Went up to Armageddon in Auckland yesterday, wasn't really that interesting. Getting repetitive, and I didn't really know any of the guests. Cost $16 to wander around for an hour, and catch the AMV competition. Caught up with a bunch of furs tho, and played with Whitelock's iTouch. colinraccoon and I took a couple of days off around the weekend. We went up to Tutukaka in Northland and stayed in a holiday camp. We had a tourist cabin which was a bit expensive but quite new and well equipped. It would have slept 4-6 and had a kitchen and a bathroom with a big shower and it's own water cylinder.
