“Missing Pieces”

The tears are swelling
A grayscale landscape
Harbors my lone self

There’s no telling
If I can ever escape
But not by myself

Shadows consume me
Losing me within
No one’s there to pull me out

Melancholy is free
Is love some kind of sin
The silhouette I cannot live without

Two days ago I took a long walk at night. there are so many trees and stuff around it was almost pitch black. I liked it. I had a flashlight with me though. I walked down by the water and sat on a bench. I was listening to Brazil the whole time... and never have I been so calm. I think I might do it again tonight.
