I tend to over-tip for food delivery. Having worked in pizza, many delivery drivers have to carry commercial policies on their cars, that they have to pay for out of their own pocket - not the place of employment. My Domino's franchise required a 1 million dollar commercial policy. So I have a little pity, I suppose. 25%, often higher, and if the amount of the bill is low, never under $5.
This is how I do things as well. I tip 20% and may round up a bit because often the franchise also doesn't compensate enough for gas, and when the weather goes tits up, people... wait for it... stay in and order delivery food.
Also, when I'm sick/my back is all crazy/etc. and I really need to have food brought to me rather than going out to get it, there are advantages to being "that short chick on the corner of $street and $street1 who tips well."
We usually order from one of the same 4-5 places and do it more when the weather's lousy, so I definitely get the importance of staying in their good graces. That basically translates to 20% rounded up, more if the bill is small, and with hazard pay if the weather sucks. If the order is crazy large ($40+) I might in theory dip below 20%, but that pretty much never happens.

Edit: Redundant sentences. ;) Half-distracted.
