This is Lizzie, Christine's daughter. Mum died in hospital at just gone 10am today. The hospital kept her comfortable and as free from pain as possible and she just stopped breathing. We saw her after and she looked very peaceful. Details of funeral to follow later.

I have to go to hospital on Monday for a colonoscopy. Apparently I will be sedated before they insert the camera, and I will have to take vile stuff the previous day to make sure there are no impediments to its access. I have been told that I need to be close to the loo at all times and, in the 24 hours before the procedure I can only drink clear ( Read more... )

In January there was a campaign to get people to take up a child tax credit that many were owed . I applied and amazingly i qualified. Much to my excitement I qualified, and on Saturday I got a cheque , not for a vast amount but for enough to do a few nice things ( Read more... )
