And it started so well- granddad and Flavius got up at half past six, while Cassian slept until seven straight. Even then he did not go down to meet his brother but insisted on watching a short Christmas video. He is not picky, loves all topics, from baking to crafting to decorating. Today started fairly uneventful: breakfast, housework, crossword puzzles were on my agenda. But then hubby decided to pick the boys up early, so that the menue plan for lunch had to be changed. Today I woke early in the morning and felt like an old woman. A really old woman. My shoulders are hurting again. So do my wrists, and the ellbows have joined the club. Which makes doing chores complicated. This is by far the most annoying rheumatic boost I had for a long time. A call to my rheumatologist ended with a double intake of medication. E ( Read more... )

Today I waited until hubby was up doing breakfast, then I started my day with a spa moment- nothing better than sit at the table in a fluffy dressing gown, freshly showered, and read the newspaper while having breakfast. Got up early, had a chat with my birthday friend, made a healthy breakfast then took a shower. Which maybe was not the best idea, because hubby had decided to buy the Christmas tree this morning. ...that I hadn´t knitted a single stitch on Elsa´s cardigan for three weeks straight. I have knitted lots of tiny scarfs instead, which apparently was more fun to do.
