Now have the cassette but can't make time to fit it until next weekend.

Halfords didn't have, and can't get, the cassette they said would be there yesterday.
Drilled holes in the 2nd pair of uprights.
Ordered the cassette from Amazon.

Drilled the middle shelves on the first pair of uprights.
One of the shelves now has a mark from the clamp pad on it, not sure if I'd made it earlier or if it transferred from the bit of scrap wood I used to try to avoid pad marks.
Set up the next pair of uprights, not using the same bit of scrap.

Also borrowed a book from their library: The Linguistics of British Sign Language (An Introduction) - Rachel Sutton-Spence and Bencie Woll Doubt I'll get it read before it's due back but at least it should be more worthwhile than the book I bought which was basically just an alphabetical list of signs.

Measured up and worked out how I'll drill the dowel holes for the middle shelves. Happily found that my dad's straightedge is exactly 35mm wide, perfectly matching the spacing my dowel jig uses. The holes that don't line up with each other still line up with what they need to. Fine.

Drilled bottom holes in the third pair if uprights. The dowel holes for the middle support don't line up, I'll have to work out which is out, and re-drill tomorrow.
