There will be a Leaving Feast Picnic beside the lake at half five this evening. Your attendance would be greatly appreciated. I would like to discuss what has happened with Professor Dumbledore at this time. It is among the rights of everyone in this castle to know the truth.

All students must check their wands for any spells or jinxes immediately. If fifth, sixth and seventh years could please assist the younger students in doing this, it would be greatly appreciated. All professors, Aurors and Unspeakables will be available for help in this matter.

Professor Dumbledore has been found. I will be acting as headmistress for the remainder of term. I must make a trip to St Mungo's this morning. I will return by half noon. Until then, Professor Black and Mr Shacklebolt will be in charge.
