HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Happy Thanksgiving to all everyone in the US. It's cold and cloudy here today. We had light snow all day yesterday with no accumulation so didn't have to worry about road problems, I was just able to enjoy the softly falling snow.

Got up at 6:30 this morning and we were already anchored in the Cabo port. It was barely light and I stepped out onto the balcony and all I could hear was sea lions barking. I couldn’t see them but there must have been a bunch of them.

What a day!!! It was hotter than you know what out there. And humid..not the kind of weather that I’m use to. We woke up at 7 and we were just backing into our dock.
Our tour was at 10 so we didn’t hurry to get off. We kind of hung around the ship. It was so hot, that the air conditioning felt really good.

Up at 4 am. Do I really need a vacation bad enough to get up at 4am to catch a plane that likely will be late. Toby's day at the lake
Long Pine Lake near Perham, Minnesota is an absolutely beautiful lake. Bald eagles flying overhead, loons and all the other water birds that you would expect in a Minnesota lake.
We were invited there by a friend of Hubby's. It belong to his parents who are absolutely delightful people. There were 6 other adults, 5 children and 5 dogs there ( Read more... ) -
Long time ...no post
Wow...it's been a long time since I've posted. Just haven't been in the mood. For some reason, I've been very tired at night. I get home and about 8, I'm ready to get off the computer and get to bed. So I do. Of course I don't sleep and I feel restless.

Whew....all done!!
What a difference that a week makes! Last week at this time we were sitting in a living room with dust all over the floor. On the couch with one lamp and the TV. The ceiling had the drying drywall mud on it. And the walls were also drying with drywall mud. The kitchen was almost impossible to fix food in. The cats were eating on top of the ( Read more... ) -

My House- A disaster area
So Monday they start the ceiling deconstruction. We spent Saturday and Sunday getting stuff out of the living room. We did an amazing job, if I must say so myself and got everything into the porch and kitchen.
