I'm on a train to Philadelphia, somewhere near Altoon. (On my way to Boston for two weeks for a couple of conferences...)

I'm using my SprintPCS Vision data service to post, because I can.

Also, because I needed to go online anyway to download a couple of Perl modules that I forgot to put on my laptop before I left.

The last three weeks have been one hell of a roller coaster. This is long and rambling, but there is an important piece of information near the end.
