My advisor offered me a chance to go to Sheffield, England on an exchange program for some amount of time last week. I turned it down. I've felt stressed even thinking about it. I didn't get to see it, but it sounds like the live debate between candidates on 'West Wing' went quite well. It pitted Alan Alda against Jimmy Smitts, with Alda in the interesting position of playing a Republican (he's left of center in real life, I believe).
