long time, no post
My current city of residence is now New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm staying in a great house with 2 roomies. We're living uptown and there's so much close by...I love it! I already discovered a wonderful boulangerie (weekly outing for sure), a small Thai restaurant, ice cream parlor, a delicious Indian place called Nirvana, and lots of unique shops. ( Read more... ) -
the last few weeks before grad school
I have a neverending to-do list. And it is revised almost daily because I find that certain items have prerequisites. For example, I tried to apply for a USAirways mastercard over the weekend but because I declared myself a student the application requires my university email address. Sounds easy enough but I don't have an email address for Tulane ( Read more... ) -

Clean teeth
Had a dentist appointment at 3:30 today. Last summer I almost jumped out of my chair with pain when the hygienist poked a particular tooth so I was not looking forward to this appt. The Graduate
No, not the movie. Me! I graduated on Friday along with everyone in Arts from Art History to Philosophy, and all of the Bachelor of Theology students too. I was number 525 to walk across the stage - and the whole ceremony, speeches and all, lasted only 2hrs! I don't know how they did it. At McGill I'm just some number who's supposed to get a piece of paper that is my diploma.
