Breakfast's ready!
[Guess what guys, Mika has made a massive amount of scrambled eggs! Considering what she put in them you'd think she'd been making an omelet before giving up! Diced tomatoes, green peppers, bacon, cheese, a little bit of onion, with large stacks of bacon and sausages on the side. For Annie she left a plate

[When she heard the clattering tray and a bandage rolled to her feet, she stopped what she was doing and walked over to the young woman, helping gather the supplies.]
Are you all right?

[She looks more embarrassed than really hurt, and she takes time to make everything neat on her tray as she puts things back. Good thing she wasn't carrying vials of medicine today.]
I'm just not used to this, I guess.
[Whether she means the work or her physical form is left unsaid, but she means both.]

I understand. Did you arrive in Mayfield recently?
[Hawkeye wouldn't lie to herself--she saw so many new faces in these first few weeks that it was almost impossible for her to keep track.]

[She makes a face as she rises, dusting off her uniform and plucking up her tray again.]

[Hey guess who is under a blanket on the couch in the living room watching cartoons and has been doing so for days now.
This girl.]

[Not that she's really sleeping there right now, but that's beside the point. She will leave her not!daughter offerings of fresh meat anyway whether she likes it or not. Mika is going to take an educated guess as to the source of the problem.]
I know him blabbing your secret was a jerk move, but it's already been said and there's not much we can do about it now aside from fortify the house. If you want, I can see if anyone's willing to help zombie-proof this place.

[The plate is getting plonked onto the coffee table as hard as it can be without breaking.]
You think I don't know what could possibly be trapped in this town with us? I've already been in one holocaust reject town! Sulking won't save you from any of those, will it? Eat or you won't even have the energy to rip their faces off. We'll figure out something!

You ought to be more careful. [With "be more careful" here meaning "get the fuck out of my way." He'll nudge a few stray bandages closer to her with his foot, but that's the end of that. Helping is for losers.]

[The noise she made sounded suspiciously like a growl, or as close as a human larynx could replicate. The rolls of gauze were stacked on the tray as neatly as possible before she was on her feet again, her expression sour.]

He hears the piercing scream, and ignores it at first. He doesn't care in the first place, and with the team he plays for, screams like that are a normal occurrence. He does pause, however, when he sees her running in his direction like there's run-jump-kill zombies on her ass. He catches her by the shoulders so she doesn't run into him, taking a small step back as to brace himself. ]
Whoa whoa whoa, where's the fire, sugar?

B-body, on the gate! They hung a dead body on the gate!

Wait. Did she say dead body? ]
Calm your tits, sugar. It's dead, it's not gonna eat you. [ A pause. ] Unless it comes back as a zombie. Then we're all fucked.
[ He's not helping in the least. ]

[She whines, an oddly canine sound coming from the chubby human girl.]

W-whoa, what happened?
Reply
[She gasps, whining in distress as her knees try to buckle. The human body she was in was too overweight for the sudden burst of terrified running.]
Th-there's a dead body on the gate!

H-hey, calm down. It's dead, it's not gonna hurt you or anything. [April fails at calming people down.]
