The next iteration of the Mac OS ("Mojave") is leaving my seven-year old iMac in the dust. Apple has announced that the new software will not support iMacs made before 2012 - and, of course, I bought my system in 2011. I'm in a very weird space right now.

Peritoneal dialysis is a modern miracle (a lucky alternative to hemodialysis), but it's not perfect. The process helps to remove fluids and other things that functioning kidneys would typically handle, but there are some things that PD removes too well. Had a great time with Steven Alexander today. The original plans were to introduce me to a role-playing group that he hosts, but the other members either (a) couldn't come today, or (b) canceled at the last minute. Rude! I've been trying ever since yesterday to purchase a ticket to see Bright Light Bright Light this Fall. Ticketfly simply responds "error processing order" each and every time I hit the "purchase" button, however. It's particular aggravating this time out, for I'm a big fan of Bright Light Bright Light.
