The movie's original release date was set for 2017, and it's usually not a good sign when an opening date is postponed for an entire year. You know, the Halloween franchise has been dicked with so many times that it's been hard for me to drum up any interest in the 2018 reboot. But the official trailer just dropped, and I'm kinda/sorta digging it.

It's both disheartening and disappointing to see the media hysteria over the recent high-profile suicides of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade. I recognize that in the past societies needed to find a way to perpetuate the species, and stigmatizing suicide was one way to accomplish that goal. But that was then and this is now. Okay, so I know many people have problems with Amazon. Its massive success - I remember when it used to sell just books! - have opened the company up to wide-ranging criticism. I even agree with many of the points raised.

I had an exceptionally difficult time getting down the hill this morning to pick up my mail. My protein levels have been on the decline for several months now, and that probably explains my weakness.
