I finally turned in all of my materials necessary to receive my teaching certification, because I was long waiting on my test results.  Now that I turned those in, I am by default certified to teach in the Michigan since I got a 90-day temporary certification (a piece of paper that says I can teach), in which I will have to pay $160 to get my ( Read more... )

Our apartment is currently being dismantled in preparation for our move in one week.  All traces of cat feces and vomit are gone from my sister’s former room, and the air quality is now acceptable for life.  I’ve probably spent 10 hours cleaning a room that was originally beyond repair.  I’m actually proud of the job I did on the room, probably ( Read more... )

I went online a few days ago to get some quotes on health insurance just to see how much it would be.  The cheapest policies I found were either $140 a month or $40 a month with a $1,000 deductible.  Either way, that’s way too expensive.  Then, all of sudden, I start getting phone calls from solicitors trying to sell me health insurance.  I guess I ( Read more... )
